Special Needs Kitty

Cardinal Clawpia is a young adult cat. He is a fluffy boy looking for a forever home without other pets. Clawpia was born with Swimmer's Syndrome and didn't receive therapy before coming to us. Due to the lack of early intervention, Clawpia will continue to have splayed back legs, but thankfully he can still live a happy and active life. He can navigate stairs and jump onto smaller cat trees, but it does take extra effort. He will need someone who is committed to continuing to strengthen his legs through physical therapy and using his wheelchair/ hobble set up (this is meant to help strengthen his legs not for mobility). He also requires a few low sided litter boxes around the house. 

Clawpia would prefer to be the only cat in the home, he wants your undivided attention! 

He is a curious and affectionate boy but prefers if you let him come to you for attention. When he seeks out attention he love to get pets and be carried around. He loves to play and is very energetic and doesn't let his legs slow him down. He is content to play by himself with his toys but enjoys when you join in on the fun. He needs a home without young kids as they need to be able to read his cues on when he wants to be left alone.
