Meet Berthe Morisot! 

This one-eyed wonder is a Frenchie mix with a heart as soft as her fur. Sweet, curious, and endlessly cuddly, Berthe is a calm, gentle companion who just wants to be near her favorite person. Whether she’s playing with toys, snoozing in her crate, or giving you her best “tug-of-war champion” impression, she’s always ready to add a little joy to your day.

Berthe recently had enucleation surgery and is now rocking the one-eyed look with confidence—nothing slows this girl down! She’s doing great with crate training and loves curling up inside for a cozy nap. Potty training is a work in progress, but she’s on a solid schedule and improving each day. At night, she’ll let you know if she needs a quick trip outside and then settles right back in.

Out on walks, Berthe is friendly and curious. She loves greeting people (especially teens who give her pets!) and watches other dogs and kids with quiet interest. While she hasn’t had close interactions with dogs, she’s shown no signs of reactivity. Loud noises don’t bother her one bit—fireworks, lawnmowers, you name it.

She’s learning basic commands and leash skills, especially when string cheese is involved.
