Meet Kurt-051!
From our second Halo litter, Kurt is the explorer of the squad, always eager to know what you’re doing, who just arrived, and whether he can tag along for the mission- but he can also stay home and chill. He's outgoing, curious, and full of joyful energy, Kurt is the kind of pup who thinks every day is an adventure and every person is a potential friend- but he does it with a calm energy that is very gentle.
He’s already met a cat, dogs, and more people than he can count, and he’s loved every minute of it. While he doesn't require a resident dog at home, he’d absolutely benefit from playdates or time with familiar, safe dog friends- the kind who can help him sharpen his social skills while he burns off that puppy bounce. He does like to run and play in the house, but isn't obnoxious about it- and he really wants you to chase him.
Kurt loves to run, romp, and engage with the world- but he’s not too wild or over-the-top. He sleeps through the night, has been working steadily on potty training, and is doing well with leash walking. Recall is coming along too- he wants to be with his people- but still needs consistent practice as it's still a bit too fun to play can you catch him!
He crates well in the car and will continue to thrive with good management- providing structure, consistency and safe toys for him to entertain himself with. Luckily, toys keep him happy, busy, and focused- he's often tossing something around on his own before flopping over on his back to nap. He really seems to enjoy being held like that too.
Kurt is looking for someone who will guide him, supervise him, and continue building structure while he grows- and he will absolutely return the favor with tons of smiles, good times and snuggles!
If you’re looking for a companion who’s up for adventure but also happy to flop into your lap- a pup with heart, humor, and hero potential- Kurt might be your match.
