Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Donations?
Along with daily care costs, the adoption donations help Motley Zoo Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.
Why is this a donation vs a fee?
The commodity we work with in rescue is "well-being"- which includes veterinary care and training. We are not selling an animal.
Adoption Fees
Dogs
- $600.00 - Puppies from 0 months to 5 months
- $600.00 - Puppies from 6 months to 12 months
- $550.00 - Dogs from 1 years to 3 years
- $525.00 - Dogs from 3 years to 9 years
- $500.00 - Dogs aged 9 years and up
Cats
$150.00 Adoption FeeAdoption Inclusions
Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Motley Zoo Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:
Dogs
- Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.) Vaccine
- Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C) Vaccine Series
- Bordetella Vaccine
- Negative Heartworm (if coming from a heartworm state/country)
- Leptospirosis Vaccine
- Deworming
- Flea/ Ear Mite Medication
- Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
- Microchipped
Cats
- Rabies (1yr or 3yr) Vaccine
- FVRCP Vaccine Series
- Test for Feline Leukemia & FIV
- Deworming
- Flea/Ear Mite treatments
- Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
- Microchipped
- Cats
