Meet James Ackerson!

James is an adorable, playful puppy from the "Halo" litter. He’s bursting with energy, curiosity, and charm. He is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. His forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that James grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. 

James has been making impressive progress with crate training and potty training. He’s developing a love for fetch, eagerly bringing his ball back, and often takes his toys into his crate when he's finished playing.

James is curious and absolutely captivated by anything that moves—he especially loves chasing fallen leaves on walks. He’s quickly learning leash manners, with guidance from his foster brother, a 4.5-year-old small dog. A natural socializer, James has met many people and greeted them with cuddles and playfulness.

James is sure to reward a loving family’s efforts with boundless affection, loyalty, and joy.

Adoption Donation: $600.00

Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.

All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar.

Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start you on your journey with your new pup!

**James Ackerson is not yet old enough to be neutered so he is available for foster-to-adopt in the greater Seattle area. Must be willing to transport to our vet in Bellevue for intake and neuter procedure as well as to Monroe for any vaccinations**
