Cardinal Clawpia is a fluffy boy looking for a forever home without other pets. Clawpia was born with Swimmer Syndrome and didn't receive therapy before coming to us. Due to the lack of early intervention, Clawpia will continue to have splayed back legs, but thankfully he can still live a happy and active life. He can navigate stairs and jump onto smaller cat trees, but it does take extra effort.
He is a curious and affectionate boy who loves a good chin scritch. He loves to play and is a fierce hunter of wand toys! He will sweetly meow at you to help lift him onto the couch so he can snuggle up with you. His ideal home would have a sliding door so he can watch the world outside, or a crafty human who can make him an adaptive cat tree/ramp so he can look out a taller window. This handsome fellow would do best in a home without other pets or small children. If you dare stop petting him, he will draw your hand back in with a paw (and sometimes a gentle love bite!) For this reason, he may do best with older children.
